Heels Socks Knitting Variations
In this Workshop you will learn different constructions for knitted sock heels.
We are going to make calculations based on your foot measurements and your gauge sample so that you can calculate your perfect fit for your socks and that they are comfortable when you wear them.
I will show you three different formulas for sock heels with their main characteristics, pros and cons, so you can choose the one that best suits your foot.
In this class you will learn:
– To take the measurements of your foot correctly.
– To make the calculations for your socks.
– Formula 1: Square Heel Top Down
– Formula 2: Short Rows Heel
– Formula 3: Pyramid Heel Top Down

Homework
For this Class you will have to prepare a circular gauge sample with yarn for Socks (Fingering) with 2.5 mm or 2.25 mm needles. That sample should measure 15 x 15 cm and should already be blocked.
